Semi-Conductor manufacturer that specializes in flexible printed circuit boards uses developer, stripper and etcher baths to deposit metals.  Metals such as copper are removed from the wastewater before disposal.  Some processes use high purity DI water.  Conducting a water audit to determine the potential for water reuse.

Recently returned from an offshore trip to a gas processing platform in the Gulf of Thailand.  The platform has a RO type watermaker built in 2000, and running with mostly original equipment.  I was commissioned to prepare recommendations to upgrade the equipment to extend the service life without replacing the entire package.

Aboard a ultra-deepwater drillship in the Gulf of Mexico for some troubleshooting and consulting.  The water system is not performing up to expectations, and the customer needs a third party to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the changes planned.

This processor in Tucson is building a new sugar facility to produce liquid sugar from cane (no corn syrup to meet changing consumer preferences).  For the boilers that provide hot water to liquefy the sugar, a highly automated RO system was installed.  I was on site April 2015 for first start-up and commissioning service.

One more job in Singapore on a Jack-Up rig in the shipyard.  Commissioning of two watermakers, each rated at 17000 gallons per day fresh water production.

On a deepwater drill anchored in Singapore harbor.  In a few more days the rig will start the transit to Western Australia were it will start a multi-year drilling contract.

Ready for work on the Ocean Apex at Jurong Megayard in Singapore.  The Apex is over my shoulder.  Commissioning two 20,000 GPD seawater desalinators.

At the Keppel shipyard in Singapore on board a LPG carrier.   The ship is in the yard for generator replacement, and upgrade to various systems.   Including a new watermaker.

Noodle maker in Gardena makes Shirataki noodles which are very low in calories - called skinny noodles.   The raw ingredient is a root.   Last week I was on-site to upgrade some of the PVC piping on their RO water system, replacing with stainless steel fittings and braided stainless steel hoses.

This gas plant needs to replace an older demineralizer system to provide boiler water.   An RO system will make good boiler water without the large quantities of regeneration chemicals for demin resin.   RO system will be installed in November and I expect to be back to site for the commissioning work.
